Matt Hawkins is a Director at OwnerCo, where he advises owner outreach and strategy to connect business owners with the right resources at critical inflection points — from growth to financing to selling their companies. Drawing on his background as a serial founder and technologist, Matt brings a practical, owner-first perspective to solving challenges with modern tools, including automation and AI. Before his role at OwnerCo, Matt co-founded and served as CEO of HOSS Technologies, a platform for developer product commercialization that was acquired by Niantic Labs, where its technology became foundational to the Lightship platform for augmented reality development. Previously, he founded Broomly, automating operations for thousands of home service businesses, and served as General Manager of a global e-commerce business through its private equity acquisition. Earlier, Matt launched and scaled the marketing and sales division at Socialware, which was later acquired by Proofpoint. Matt is a Y Combinator alumnus and holds a business degree from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
